I have the exact rifle, best I ever got it to shoot was with a 55 gr. v-max and a max charge of H-380, it did 1 1/4" at 250 yards, but it does need trigger work, working on finding someone to do it in my rural area. However I did once take 9 out of 10 crows at 380 yards.

Take it apart and polish all the engaging surfaces. Nothing wrong with a Ruger trigger that taking off the rough edges wont cure;

Yes, it’s more than an honest 300 yard coyote rifle. I’d shoot deer at that range with the right bullet of any standard weight. Like a good soft point or X bullet. Soft points better I think.
