Got a picture from our Hunt Two Weeks ago. Louisiana sponsors a Youth Hunt Weekend for all the kids to draw more attention to the sport and to spark interest. Kameron and I did our part two weekends ago. She said she had a great time sitting in a Deer Stand with the "old man" after she got over her "22 foot" jitters. We didn't see any deer, saw lots of tracks. All things being equal, it was really too hot for a good deer hunt anyway. She really wanted to break in her 99 right that day, but it can wait. Very good! Looks like Kameron will have some great memories as there's nothing to compare to hunting with your dad. Is that a DL with a Leupold M7?

Perfect for her. She wanted a rifle like her Dad. Come Hunting season, We'll both have 99's in the stand. I just wasn't allowed to bring mine on this weekend.

My wife has never handled a gun, still wont. She is afraid of them and has no intrest in changing that. LT H, Way to go! You have given her a gift that will last a life time!

Cherish your time with her. The clock is ticking. You never know what tomorrow will bring. What you are teaching and sharing with her now will be paid three fold. You will not have "street" problems because she will be "turned on" to the outdoors. Great picture and congratulations sir.
