Apparently Hodgdon isn't going to make any more H4895.............
Anyone within 100 miles of Knoxville TN want to sell/trade/barter for H4895? I have 2-3 lbs each of Alliant Re 15, 17, 23, 26 as powders I'd consider trading.

I’ve seen 4895 available at Powder Valley and other places within the the last 2 weeks. The IMR version or the Hodgdon version (H4895)? I know they have IMR4895, but that isn't the same as H4895.

I passed on a 8lb jug of it a few weeks ago. It was $309.

I've seen alot of IMR 4895 but no H4895. I have several online powders dealers on my screen all day and refresh about 1 every hour and still haven't seen any H4895.
The Hodgdon website had some about a week and half ago. I snagged 3 lbs and the order sat unfilled for several days. I called them and they said it was an inventory mistake and refunded my money. I found it again a day or so later, snagged 3 lbs and was told the same thing. GB has alot of H4895, the last 2 lbs sold late last week for $205 + shipped + hazmat. I'll not pay that. I prob would have been all over an 8lber for $309 assuming it didn't come attached with ridiculous shipping - some on GB do that.

Will keep my eye open for you. My local shop seems to be getting in more Hodgdon stuff lately that hasn’t been available for over a year. I could use some RL23 in trade.

I'd appreciate that. I could be talked into selling the Re 23. I sold my 280 and it loved the stuff.

I have 1 lb or Hodgdon H4895 that I would be willing to swap for a pound of RL15. I am about 100 miles from you and here in the near future will be down around Exit 8 when the white bass start at Douglas lake. Let me know.
