This is a fantastic shotgun. I took a fall with it hunting one day and cracked the forearm and dinged the wood and the vent rib, as shown in pictures. The previous owner engraved what appears to be a drivers license number by the serial number under the top lever. You cannot see it while lever is closed. The rest of the shotgun is in really nice, clean shape. Wood is not cut. Original butt pad. It is a 1969 and I do not see any salt wood issues. This is by far the best fitting and handling shotgun I have ever owned. It truly points exceptionally. I have several pictures available by request. Cell phone is best and easiest for me to send by. I am asking $1975 shipped and insured. I will ship in a new plastic gun case in a cardboard outer sleeve. I will be shipping it myself, a non FFL. If a FFL is needed to ship a extra cost will be added to be paid by buyer.
I know I will be asked the reason I am selling. And it’s for one reason only, and that is a real estate transaction along with my other Browning shotguns I am selling. If it wasn’t for that I would never sell this fine shotgun.

Reading comprehension is short in this thread. He's shipping the gun himself, as an individual. If the buyer's receiving FFL doesn't like that and wants it sent from an FFL, the extra cost incurred will need to be paid by the buyer.

I hope this clears up any confusion. I will be shipping this shotgun to a FFL. I as a non FFL will be shipping to a FFL. If your FFL does not accept a shipment from a individual, and a FFL is required to ship to your FFL a additional cost is associated as my FFL charges me a transfer fee to log the shotgun into his FFL log.
I apologize for not responding sooner, but I do work a full time job with very limited cell phone use and have children that play sports. I usually only check my PM for additional pictures request.
