Congrats on a nice find. I have a friend who has one complete with the box and documents. I have been unsuccessful in prying it away from him frown

PennDog,
Years ago I handed the president of our pistol club a 5-screw K22. He had never held or shot one before (other than me the club all shot Hammerli) but proceeded to shoot his first group that could have been covered with a dime. I clearly remember his face when he turned around and asked, "Where do I get one of these?!"

local_dirt,
Beer will do that to a guy!

That does not surprise me one bit (either the accuracy of K22s or the beer😁)!!

GSPfan,
The boxes are worth more than the guns now.

This is an outstanding find!

Very nice find! Did you remove the grips while cleaning. Is the serial number of the gun written inside? Did you already check the accuaracy?

It amazes me at the level of quality US companies like Smith and Wesson, Colt, Winchester, Savage, Marlin, etc. we’re turning out 100 years ago, and that they can’t even get close to replicating today, even with the much improved machinery, computers, and such.

I went over this little dandy with an illuminated magnifying lens last night just admiring details. Have to agree with your statement above. Just incredible workmanship throughout.

Everyone should own a classic revolver. Absolutely LOVE your Outdoorsman; those are off the charts cool.

I have the Colt version
