that being said....there is no reason to watch it when you can get the highlights the next morning.

If Jada Pinkett Smith had shaved her head as a fashion statement, the joke would have been OK. Making a joke about somebody's medical condition is not OK. Will Smith had every right to be angry, although he shouldn't have expressed it the way he did.

Chris Rock declined to press charges, and under the circumstances rightly so. Either he knew about her condition and made the joke anyway, in which case he brought it on himself, or he saw her in the audience and ad libbed, in which case you make the joke and take your chances. The last thing he should want is for this to drag on.
