Shell Oil Company wanted to prove that their gold Shell motor oil was of such high quality that t could be used to oil fine Swiss watches. Shell commissioned Girard-Perregaux to make 30,000 of these see thru skeletonized watches in November of 1939 and were issued to Shell Oil Dealers. This watch has been recently serviced and is in beautiful condition along with the original chain and fob. Also included is an original ad. $410 shipped priority.
