It appears from my limited research the only way to get rid of this FUAbortion is another ballot measure initiative? I was under th impression this had a sunset clause, but can find no evidence of that.
Comments? Insites?

Which countries use ranked voting? Ranked voting is used in national elections in Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom (Scottish and Welsh Parliaments), the US States of Maine and Alaska. It is also used in Malta, Slovenia, and Nauru. It is also used for some local elections in New Zealand, and some locations in the United States.

It’s going to be tough to kick out incumbents. I spoke with the state reps about it when i was looking at running for a house seat. I don’t think it’s going to be a good thing.

Ranked Choice is a bad system that favors far left minority parties. How the heck did it get voted in for Alaska?

The problem is that initiative had two things on it. All the ads ran talked about dark money and making candidates accountable for outside money. Not once did those ads talk about rank choice voting. So majority of Alaska who are uninformed voted yes on that ballot measure. Because darn it we need to see who’s giving who money! I was under the impression the initiative could only have one issue. But our beloved liberal state Supreme Court said otherwise.

Also conservative talk show host mike Porcaro agency helped put ads together for the yes on ballot measure 2. He was asked why he supported it his answer was it would get more republicans to run lol. Answer his agency got paid over a million dollars to run ads.

And the Supremes won't touch it - it's a ''state's rights" issue. As if we could trust them anyway...
Guess we will have to do another ballot initiative to get rid of it, if we can. Is there a time limit this thing has to stay in effect before we can? Need to get it gone before 2024 if we can.

So 2 years

We’ll need a different legislature than present to repeal it.

Alaskans made a big mistake! RCV is used in Minneapolis and it is a nightmare for voters trying to figure out which socialist to vote for.
