Well sort of. The XXII always intrigued me but the magazine just ruined it for me. This weekend I headed to a local gunshow for the first time in at least a few years. There was a mint tube fed XXII of Nikko vintage so here it is. Nice rifle Ed..when I got mine I tore it down and it was the single most filthy 22 I’ve ever encountered..
I don’t think it has ever been cleaned and when I was done it probably weighed 2 lbs less
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...?

EdM: I have never owned a Weatherby rimfire but have seen LOTS of them - that one of yours is just strikingly beautiful/unique.
I hope it shoots as well as it looks.

Nice rifle congrats. I think you'll want a gloss scope and rings for it. I have a new set of Leopold 1 inch rings if your interested. A friend has one and it's a very accurate rifle.

My tube fed Weatherby was $350 with the Weatherby scope.
That was 20 years ago.
It does shoot well.
