I’ll be ordering a TL3 tonight or in the morning and am not familiar with the DLC. Their website really doesn’t mention it other than they offer it. Does it offer anything for functionality or is it just a protective coating? I would prefer the stainless but if someone with experience says it’s going to run smoother with the DLC I’ll get it. I’m ordering in the morning.
Lead time as of today is 16-22 weeks if anyone is considering one. Although a few retailers have some in stock, just not the one I want.

I had my TL3 DLC coated and it's crazy slick.
I'd do it again, but if SS is your thing, I'd not be scared.
Really great actions backed by great service!
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

It will be SS underneath, go for the DLC strictly for lubricity(sp?).
I have a 1911 that is DLC treated from the factory and it requires no lubricant and cleans up easily with a few drops of CLP and a shop rag. I have several AR BCGs that are DLC treated and they to require a little CLP and a wipe down even after a few hundred rounds at the range.
