Friend has a flint 50 cal. needs a new RH sear Dixie has none they have left hand but no right. just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and found a sear that will work in this lock. I will be taking it up to Dixons to see if they might be able to solve the problem. If not I think we will be going with the L&R lock made to replace the original comments or suggestions appreciated.

Yep all things considered I believe that is the best course of action. The L&R will have parts available in the future should the need arise. I think the quality of their locks will also give him a better performing flintlock. The rifle itself is very accurate and deserves a good lock.
