I came across a LH Sauer 200 chambered in 25-06 a couple days ago. Was wondering if anybody has any experience with these?

Had the 200 and moved to the 202. Both are very nice rifles. If you are looking for additional barrels, Benchmark sells adapters and can do a barrel as well so you can create your own caliber. Did that about 18 months ago. Barrel is awesome.

Thanks ya'll. Rifle is in good condition, with some blueing worn off. Barrel has been threaded and has an aftermarket flash hider. The guy wants around $900 and could sweeten the pot with a bunch of Hornady ammo. I didn't find much, if any, info on value of this gun. I don't really have a need for it, but hate to pass up a good lefty. Any ideas if this may be a decent deal?

Yes. Good deal. Replacemeent barrels may cost more than the rifle.

Bama Rick, they are great rifles that shoot sub moa with all ammo I've tried. Most the time one hole or a clover! These are great rifles. I’ve had one for 20 years. As bms stated, mine has been very accurate with everything I’ve put in it. The stock design seems to lessen felt recoil as well.

I have one in 30-06 and love it. Excellent shooter.. I paid $1,200. for mine 5-6 years ago. I see a number of the LH models list for $1,800 to 2,000, but they are in excellent condition.

I still have this really nice Sauer 200 25/06 Left handed with a 24 inch barrel that has had the barrel threaded 1/2x28 by a professional gunsmith. The trigger is set at a light clean 2 pounds which is very nice. I also purchased a second barrel for this Sauer 200 in 30-06 that is in great condition as well. Both barrels are threaded 1/2x28 by the same great gunsmith. He also did a deep copper cleaning on both barrels which they really were not bad at all but figured while he had it just pay him to do it.
