Friends,
I was looking for a replacement for the 305 grain wide nose Keith that I used to use, and decided to test these 300 grain wide nose Hammers. Same load specs. Ends up in testing, they shoot the same small groups and stack on top of each other at 50 yards. They are so close to the same I hade a hard time telling the two apart.
Anyways, I loaded up a bunch and have
6 extra 100 round boxes. This is in new Starline brass.
Velocity is exactly 1,100 FPS out of my 5" Model 29 S&W Classic .44
The pic below shows two groups that were shot at 50 yards from a sandbagged rest, with the 29 Classic equipped with a red dot optic.
I noted that the point of impact was roughly 4"s above my point of aim, as the M29 is normally zeroed for 240 grain loads.
(yeah I know I always pull one shot from an otherwise nice group...) smile
I got complete penetration on an average sized bull a few years back at a shade past 100 yards using a 5" M29 :
THE PRICE INCLUDING SHIPPING AND INSURANCE IS $120 TO YOUR DOOR PER 100 ROUND BOX.I take venmo, USPS Money order, or checks (once cleared by the bank). I do not take paypal. It will ship Ground UPS. It must go to a physical address, not a PO Box. Ammo cannot go through the US mail.
Again, I only have 6 boxes. So, If you need some seriously heavy duty Big Bear ammo, or need to stop a Mack Truck, or a Moose, these would be a very good choice.
You have to be 21 since it is handgun ammo. Will only ship to places where legal and it is your responsibility to know your local laws.
No shipping to restricted states or jurisdictions. CONUS only, and I do not ship to, MA, DC, CT, CA or other locations with restrictions.
