Thinking outside the box.

Well played.

Some '15 while you're at it as well. Now this might seem like an insurmountable task, but, just remember, I'm not asking for primers so try and keep thing in perspective.

Wrangell, AK (KINY) - Back in December of 2015, a Big Game guide was charged with eight counts of Unlawful Acts as a guide in GMU 19.

The guide, Thomas G. Shankster (who is 60-years-old of Aurora, Colorado) owns a business called "Alaska Trophy Hunts" which is primarily based near the Mouth of the Dillinger River. State troopers had discovered that Shankster had committed the crime of Wanton Waste on at least five occasions of both Moose and Caribou. Shankster had also failed to report two known violations by his assistant guides of sub-legal sheep and antlers before meat, plus they had committed Unsworn Falsification on at least one Hunt Record. That record showed that meat had been salvaged, but in actuality had not.

Thanks for the info JohnBurns. Hey, I know Austin. I sure didn't recognize him in the picture though.

Austin is a good guy. Saw him at SHOT this year and shot PDs with him last summer.

Kyle Lamb seems like an absolute, humble bad ass.

I don't know squat about those other guys.

There are times I wish I had careered the Corps, but not many. I'd be recently out if I had and it sounds like an absolute sh:t show these days.

Kyle is not what I would call humble but he has good ego control, if that makes sense.

I have seen the Troop SGM come out when somebody got out over their skis and he has no problem taking someone to task.

On the other hand you have to really dig deep to get him off balance when schitt talking and his range schitt talking game is world class.

This year at SHOT he had 4 of us at dinner. The guys from Stag Arms were in the same big resturant and Scott Steiert, who is a good friend, was at the Stag Arms table.

The waitress came over to Kyle and me with a small sunday with a lit candle and told us she had been told we were celebrating our 20th year anniversary and somebody had bought us the sunday with the lit candle.

The whole Stag table got up and cheered. We blew the candle out and had a few bites of ice cream. grin

Kyle and Scott Steiert killing rocks at my place.

Ha! I will take your word on the humble/ego thing. I have never met him. My thoughts were based on some interviews I have seen of him but those very well may have been doctored up.

As to the shenanigans, those Stag guys sound like the kinds of guys I'd hang out with.

I am just saying Kyle does not play humble but is pretty introspective. It's not an act.

Jack Carr just put up a 3+ hour podcast with Kyle where they get deep into the Blackhawk Down stuff and other things.

I can say what you see there is the real Kyle.

That's the way people who have never accomplished anything in life feel better about themselves. They hang with badass people who have.
