Need the pin that anchors the Lyman No.26W front sight blade into the base on the early Nickel Steel barrel of a Winchester Model 54.

I have no line on an original pin but I have made many replacement. I pull out my number drills and find out which one is almost to snug. Get a drill bit of appropriate size and cut it down. Quite simple actually.

Out of curiosity I knocked the pin part way out of one of mine to measure it. It is .062 (1/16"). My suggestion: go to the hardware store and find a nail of that diameter, cut it, fit it, and dress it flush. Or, measure the width of the sight base and cut/dress the nail to perfect length and tap it in. I doubt whether you'll ever find a dedicated pin labeled "Model 54 front sight"
