I have been using a Carharrt long and short sleeve shirt for years, that was a cotton blend, very comfortable, wore like iron, and looked decent even after years of use. Given the new wokeness at the company and the fact that they have quit making the shirts I like, I am in the market for a new favorite. Want cotton with enough of something else not to be a wrinkle fest, both long and short sleeve shirts, long enough to cover my pistol, and durable. I wear these to work, church and everything else. What do y’all like?

Been looking myself. Wore Carhartt Ts for 20 some years, they used to wear well, not fade, and not stain. Now, they get little holes, fade, and stain like crazy. Been looking for awhile, the wokeness and Vaxx issue are iceing on the cake.
Wife bought one at JC Penny, that isn't bad for le$$. But it's not up to par either. Duluth is at least as expensive, and I didn't like the flimsy feel.

My favorites were Walls that are no longer available. I recently bought four from Dickies. They seem pretty well made. We shall see.

What about Duluth? They seem to have some decent sales on their website. I'm in the same boat, local ranch supply store only has wrangler and carhartt. I need good flannels and t-shirts .

Love me some Ben Davis work shirts, but the smart phones have outgrown the pockets on the latest Chinese sewn ones.
For what that's worth.

Warm weather, blue cotton chambray. I’m 42 and have turned into my grandpa. He dairy farmed his entire life. His “uniform” for the entire time I knew him was blue chambray and moc toe work boots. I don’t live in the chambray, but wear both the long and short sleeve ones often depending on weather. Love my moc toe Thorogoods to complete the grandpa look. I’ll mix in some of the Wrangler ultra lightweight cheap pearl snaps as well. They’re best in hot weather, better than a t shirt. My gripe is the tails aren’t long enough. Same for their heavy solid color shirts every farm store carries. Can’t stay tucked in.

The Dickies are comfy but they tend to fade , but more importantly they lose their shape pretty quick for me. I guess too much cotton and not enough Lycra or spandex or whatever. I just chuck them in the goodwill bin and get a half dozen more.

Years ago i found Dickies shirts.
I liked the khaki colored ones and bought the ones that would fit.
They wore well and didn't cost a bundle.
Haven't found any more in the last few years but i still have enough to last for a long time.

I think maybe you've reached that age:

Way back when, Hathaway was good for me - later it was Talbot. Now, who knows?

I wear hickory shirts also, all the time. Order mine from Madsen's in Centralia Washington, same place I bought them from in the late 70s when I was working in the woods. Love those shirts!
