Granddaughter and daughter in law still make jelly and preserves. But we’re too far west for Mayhaws.

Mayhaw is my favorite jelly. Haven't seen it around here. My Grandma was from SW Georgia and would go back every year for the family reunion. She'd bring back a case or 2 and give it out. I looked for it once when I was up that way and couldn't find it. I guess it's seasonal?
It might be lonely at the top, but it's a bitch at the bottom.

I finally figured out what kind of berry I was trying to remember growing up, It wasn’t a Mayhaw, it was autumn olive. They say they make good jelly too.
