I am not sure how they reduced the bolt face to 30-06 diameter on a 9 lug bolt face. Custom from weatherby or custom from a gunsmith you think? It's a Howa manufacture, they also built 240 weatherbys in the same action. Great rifles and above average precision and workmanship. Judging from the pictures it’s not a Howa. It’s a Weatherby action. Great rifle and good deal! This one is made in USA. Not by Howa

Long thread, so here's the summary: rifle is a Weatherby MK V 9-lug made in USA and chambered in .30-06. It has a satin blued finish in really good shape and an injection molded stock. It comes with Burris bases installed and s separate set of standard Leupold rings and bases. The action is incredibly smooth and everything works as it should. it has a Trigger Tech trigger installed. It also comes with a second barrel (NOS Stainless, chambered and threaded for installation, 24-inch, identical profile) that is NOT installed on the rifle. It hasn't been shot much, but I don't have a round count. $750 shipped from a non-FFL holder to your FFL. The first "I'll take it" followed by a text to 904-525-3590 gets it. Weatherby made only 2 non Weatherby calibers in the Mark V action, 30-06 and 22-250. The 22-250 was in the smaller 6 lug action.

I remember these. Yes they were 30-06 9 lug actions and if I recall it was I believe Edenpine industries out of Maine producing these. I thunk that's correct but I know for certain they were produced because I remember seeing them first person
