Looking for a quad or SXS and seeing some arctic cats in 400 or 500 cc that have low miles and seem reasonable priced. I think that the 400 is the same as the Eiger and the 500 is also suzuki. Anyone have experience good, bad, indifferent?
If you love someone set them free If they come back no one else liked them Set them free again

The 500 is a mule. Great worker, starts well in cold weather. Not a sporty trail racer. A tank of a machine in straight axle.
The 400 is reliable once the flywheel is updated and the wires should be inspected while the cover is off. It is a rev happy engine, more peppy and less torque than the 500. Had over 9k when I sold it. Many came through the shop 10k plus. More sensitive to cold weather starting.
Neither ride like modern machines. Both make an excellent farm worker.

Had a 05 Eiger since it was new, 4500 miles now. It's been troublefree, I've changed the drive belt, oil and filter. The only use it gets now is plowing snow.
Eigers are known for durability.
