This one followed me home from the LGS today. Anyone have any experience with the 204 Ruger in an AR? Coyotes will be my primary target.

I’ve got it’s twin in .556. Mine has been very accurate and Uber Reliable. It's my main “truck gun” for coyotes and hogs at the Ranch.

I haven’t shot mine yet, need to get an optic mounted. I am shocked at how good the trigger feels.

Great find !!!!!!! you are hindered a bit from the AR magazine length so I have had the best luck with 32 grainers, the 39-40grainers have to be seated in too far for my liking. good accurate rifle that you should really like.
tough trying to find 204 components or ammo right now though

Thanks for the tip about the 40 gainers.

I was able to get 100 rounds of factory 32 grainers. My local shop has 32 and 40gr bullets. Dies are on order. Hopefully the 32’s shoot.

35 Berger’s are good if you can’t get 40’s in a mag.

Just my experience on coyotes, the 32’s suck. The 35 Berger’s are good on cats and coyotes but the 40’s turn it into a giant killer.
