I have 7 Kahles AH 2-7 x 36, TDS and plex reticles. 2 parallax for rimfire and 5 for centerfire. Have 3 Zeiss Conquests 1.8-5.5 x 38 scopes, thanks to Doug CL for those. Had 6 MIJ Weaver T-10s break the reticle just sitting next to the Kahles. I gave them away Have 2 Karl Kaps 4 x 36 30mil tubed scopes and 2 Kahles 4 x 36 1" tubed scopes.

Probably 30 of those sorry Leupold scopes. I don’t twist knobs, they are fine for me. Have a few Redfield’s on .22’s

I’ve got 3 Bushnell Elite 4200’s in 3-9 flavor. Can’t say that I’ve noticed any difference.

Maybe you should try cleaning them…..
I’m shocked at times by the amount of grunge that accumulates on the objectives of scopes stored upright, even when covered with a sock. The very first Swarovski scope I encountered in the field was during a deer hunt on a "plantation" in Alabama in the late 1980s. One of the other guys at the place was from Louisiana, and was bragging on the "brightness" of the Swarovski variable on his rifle. He insisted we all look through it, and I was not impressed. But then I looked at the objective lens, which had a pretty good coating of dust.... Have tested a bunch of scopes for "brightness" using techniques gleaned from a guy who was the top optical engineer for a major firm around 20 years ago. It's often surprising how well even "cheap" scopes do these days compared to far more expensive brands--which is because good multi-coated lenses are far more available and cheaper in today's market. But they all need to be clean to make a meaningful comparison....

Win mod 70 30-06 Sako cutomized K98 8mm Savage 220 Cva Kodiak pro mag .45 ml
All have a Sightron SII 3-9x42 duplex on them
1978 1979 to 2017 leupold,s only. Don't trust em anymore one bit..... When a scope cant adjust per stated value or in the correct direction. Cant track horizontal and vertical correct, sure as heck should not move diagonally......🥴🥴🥴 Cant hold zero Cant return to zero. Cant pair shots or take adjustments... Have to tap turrets or go past adjustments then back to one you want for it to set in, per urban legend advice or how to,s...
They are not a aiming device anymore IMO.... After veiwing the Leupold Reps on here several yrs ago and their spin show..... Trust was not reinstilled about their products to me at all.... The status symbol of that gold ring is hard for some to give up I geuss...
And of course the generic YMMV, because a product might work for your needs....

I must have a dozen Bushies, but they are LRHSi's,LRTS,LRTSi's and DMR II's,so not all EXACTLY the same flavor. Only a 100 or so SWFA's,but 50 or so of which are 6x MQ. Hint..................

Stick, You’ve been running (testing) some different optics lately. Aside from Super Chicken, and the rest of the usual lineup of suspects. What have you found surprising, in a good way, from these newer scopes and which optics would you say are gonna be orphaned? 🦫
