That's pretty obscure knowledge to have off the top of one's head short of being a real Colt aficionado.
He grew up in a family that collects Colts...it amazes me the obscure stuff that guy pulls out of his head (or ass). Honestly, I think he needs some kind of 12 step program...

I’m pretty fond of the way these 2 came out looking. Bowen even photographed them and put them in the Classic Arms Journal before he sent them back to me. Very nice!

Nice pieces of wood there!! Ironwood? Thanks guys! Nope, that’s some exhibition grade french walnut. My dad and I had the pair built back a few years ago for us. Started out as 7 1/2” Redhawks that we sent to Rob Rowen to make the grips and then from there they went to Hammilton Bowen for his Kodiak package. The grips really brought the whole project together and took them to the next level I think. I’ve got a friend that’s on the waiting list now with Rowen to have some grips built for his Kodiak, and I’m on the list again too to have a set made for my Freedom Arms 97 22 LR.

Seriously: I thought you sold that. I did. BTW, the new Pythin just came out with a 3" version. I have a BOLO out for it.. I went to a local gun store hunting for a 3” python. They had a 6” only and a 3 or 4” (looked like a 4 but employee said 3” barrel) king cobra. Both new production. Counter dude says they only make a 3” king cobra . I think he’s FOS though. I liked the Python but the KC was meh.

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

Yes internals are MIM, and that's not a bad thing.

Yours are nicer than mine, but I have two of those plus a 7.5” in factory form. They are my favorite revolvers. All three have had complete action jobs including terrific triggers and Bowen’s Rough Country rear sights. The only thing missing are those great grips. I did pull those horrible Pachmayers off of the 4” guns and installed some nice wood factory grips.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

Yes internals are MIM, and that's not a bad thing. Please explain how that’s good, or at least not bad. After I had a hard failure of an MIM part on a carry pistol, I won’t have one in a gun of mine.

Good grief. C'mon, man, are you just trolling? This argument has been beaten to death over and over, and over, on every gun/shooting/outdoor forum ever. Stick to your Dan Wessons, I guess.

Simple question and observation. Maybe unruffled your feathers, no shot at anyone, on my part anyhow.
