OP ChuckK Campfire Greenhorn C Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 90 Ohio	A few months back I posted on loads for the 338 federal with the Hornady 250 round nose .I just got a chance shoot some groups. Nothing to stunning , no group was larger than 1.75 inches , the 2400fps load was1.25 inches.

84Mtn_EER Campfire Regular 8 Joined: Mar 2021 Posts: 567 South Eastern West Virginia	Any idea how well the 250gr Hornady would expand from your 338Fed ? I'd assume it would depend on the distance. I've thought about trying some 250gr from my 338-06 but I haven't tried them yet
