Wanting to put a new optic on an ar9 pistol 10.5 in barrel if that makes a difference but it really doesn't to me. Something with multiple reference dot points. I like my sig Romeo 5 and I like my Romeo 7 but even thinking something more like the Holosun HS510C . I really like the looks of the sig Romeo 8T. What else is similar without spending a buttload of money Romeo 8T is about the top in the money I'd like to spend or even a little higher than I'd like to spend to be honest..

I picked up the Primary Arms GLx 2X Prism with ACSS Gemini 9mm Reticle for my Ruger Charger 9mm and think it's a perfect fit. Very capable of hitting out to 150 yards and doable out to 200!

Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21.
Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!

The holosun circle dot may work for you or a prism sight may work. I just run a red dot.

I have the PA 1X prism.
The reticle is off to the right of my irons.
With rear iron sight dead center windage.
This on two diff rifles.

I realize the etched reticle means a backup sighting system shouldn't be needed.
But it annoys me that there is some offset within the optic causing it to be "off" (when compared to irons).

Zeroed easily and has held zero. But with that issue, mandates stand alone IMHO.

IMHO run a reddot, or a magnified optic. A prism is a "tweener".

The ACSS is neat reticle, but at 1X doesn't offer anything. Needs a multiplier.
Can run the little chevron as a fine aiming point, or use the doughnut kinda like a reddot for fast stuff.

Think the 3 or 5x ACSS prism might be better, or go with just a regular red dot.
The 1X does nothing great. Nothing bad either. Just nothing great.

FWIW I tried diff spacers and flipped them and the base around in combinations, the offset was always there.
Yanked the 1X prism off the rifle and added a 2-7X scope.

Think a rifle w a clocked reflex pretty good, and another w a LPVO decent.
May try the Cyclops on a turkey gun. Adj stock to get comb up since it sits a little high even w no spacer.

NOT impressed.

2nd PA item bought and while both worked, neither was perfect from the get go. Won't be a 3rd purchase.

When it comes to Primary Arms optics, food for thought
