Like the OP and his confidence in Senkos. I have to have a dedicated rod for a 5” Senko AND a Ned rig with a TRD crawz.
You can’t fish a Ned rig slow enough. Also find it so satisfying that almost every hookup is in the top jaw.

What Woodson said about the hookups. Close to 100% good hookups in the upper mouth or jaw. Catching them but not killing them.

Sensitive rod definitely helps with the finesse tactics.... I'm using a g loomis nrx for dropshotting and Ned rigs. I run 15 lb yellow power pro braid to about a 15 ft 6lb Seagar flouro leader.... I like to make sure the leader knot is in the reel when I get the fish close to the boat.
