Picked up the Mauser in 375/350 that NTO offered here in the classifieds. What a nice rifle! Finding some info online for loading it, one load in particular that interests me the most. Thinking of using the Speer Hot Core 235gr spitzer the most and not looking to make it anything other than what it is. I do have some 300gr TSX, just wondering if the 375/350 cartridge can push those fast enough for a TSX to work. Another member was kind enough to send me data on a 375 Whelen Improved, I'm told the 2 cartridges are very close. Interested in reading other's first hand experience with this cartridge here and thanks for your time. Dean

Don't have any info on that set up but I have used several lighter bullets in my H&H. The 235 Speer and Barnes both worked well on deer but I always wanted something with a higher BC for NA in case I had a longer range opportunity. When Barnes came out with the 250TTSX I thought I had found the answer but could never get my rifle to shoot them into less than about 2 MOA (from a rifle that shoots everything else into sub MOA). Played around with the GMX but it didn't perform much better. I just picked up some Hornady CX and so far they look more promising although I haven't shot them for groups yet, just ladders Good luck with yours, the 235 Speer should work out very well.
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor

You might look at 376 Styer data ,and compare case volume for a place to start.

Should be like a 375 Whelen. Sort of like the 350 RM vs 35 Whelen. I have a 375 Whelen AI, Mauser action. I don’t hot rod that rifle, but I believe it has a little more capacity than the 375-350.
375 Whelen AI M98 235 grain Speer and 60 grains of H335 is the load I like with that rifle. The other loads I've mainly been shooting in that rifle were cast
Here's loads I got on-line for another cartridge that is a bit larger than the 375 Whelen AI and the 375-350, which is the 375 Hawk Scovil that basically has close to the body of the 9.3x62 with neck for a 375

270 Barnes X-Bullet Hodgdon H-4895 58.0 grains 2,450 FPS : 270 Barnes X-Bullet Winchester W-748 61.0 grains 2,515

I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

For what I intend to do with this rifle, liking the 235gr Speer more and more, it won't be for long range. Yes, the 375 Whelen Improved is a larger case and going to check out the 376 Styer to compare. If I need more 375, I have a 375 Ruger, so just looking to make the 375/350 a short/moderate range thumper. The rifle has a 20" barrel and is very well balanced, don't have a scale, but it's not a heavy rifle. Thanks for your comments and sharing your knowledge, appreciate it. Dean

Found the load that I'm liking and most likely going to use for this rifle/cartridges intended purpose. Load involves Speer 235gr bullets and IMR4064 powder. Now, I just need to shore up the amount of 350 Rem Mag brass that I have to make the cartridge.

When I bought my first 350 Mag I made brass from 7 Mag cases until I could find factory made cases.
