Youse guys just stop it...I have been roundly criticized here on the fire for pointing out the bad cost/benefit ratio of cheap Mexican labor. These two gals are just hard working, family oriented, God fearing potential good citizens (according to the 'fire intelligentsia). I'm surprised they haven't made the swim yet. The pictures I see of the border show a great deal of very, very well fed people who have managed to walk a long ways and then top it off with a sprint and a swim across the finish line.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

I worked in central Mexico for 2 or 3 weeks a month for the year of 2016. Was all excited, watched Univision for a bit to get me up to speed. Sorely disappointed. Maybe 1 in 100 looked anything like the tv had prepped me for. Most looked like they'd just climbed down from out of the hills. Except for the hostess at the Italian restaurant. She didn't look like she'd ever been to the hills....
Then there was the morning at breakfast, our Vice President was sitting across the table from me. He kicks me under the table and nods. I turn around. About 50 Mexican college age girls in sports bras and spandex go parading by to the gym in the hotel. Got back that night and they're all in night gowns. Miss Mexico pageant was going on in our hotel. They looked like they were all going to be weather girls.

But seriously I was in Mexico once in July and I recommend that you do not do the same. It was hot as blue f u ck and we were within an hour or two of being stranded there in a hurricane. The airport shutdown about an hour after we took off on a chartered 737 that my wife's company had to hire to get people evacuated. If not for that plane we might still be there.
