I bought one of these about 10 yrs ago I think for about 35.00 and gave it away as a prize to a scout at summer camp that year. Although I thought mine had a scissor too. But definitely stag scales and made in Japan. I saw that kid about a year ago and he mentioned the knife and the fact he still had it. I told him back then that it was a good knife and he should take care of it
