From the hell's gonna freeze over first thoughts:
Roberts should put all the clerks in a room with no cell phones, instruct them that when he returns either one clerk is being fired or all of them. Tell them they have until the end of the day to decide which.

Roe v. Wade was a horrible decision that was based on pure activism in disregard of the Constitution and the founding principle of federalism. It should be struck down on the basis that it was an issue that the Supreme Court had no right to decide and the concept of penumbras and emanations as a source of rights should be explicitly repudiated.
That said, I don't think there's ANY way Roberts will allow the type of opinion cited in the article to be published. He might allow Roe to be narrowed, but that's it. Listen to this man^^^ You think he has enough pull to get one of the five to sink this? After the leak I doubt Saturn V has enough pull to do that.

There are two words connected to this story that speak volumes.
draft & leaked
This is nothing more than bullchit from the left designed to whip their base into a frenzy before the mid term elections.
Nailed it to a tree, you did.

I keep reading/hearing how this was a battle cry for the midterms. Doubt it. This opinion, if true, would have been released by the SC prior to November. Maybe they wanted to hold on to it for the October surprise. By releasing it now, it’ll run out of steam. Americans have short memories.
Sure, the rabid far left will carry this till the end, but a majority of Americans today are more worried about filling their car with gas and buying groceries for their families.
I think the Deep State/Cabal, or what ever you want to call them are rudderless.
Cancel Title 42 Provoke a nuclear war with Russia Leak an explosive opinion from the SC
They lost the Covid/vaccine narrative. They’re panicking and just throwing anything to the wind, hoping to save the DNC.

The leak is not illegal, but a violation of their oath of office. If outed, their short career as a law clerk is over and they will be relegated to public defenders if not debarred. These leaks pss me off. This crap needs to be dealt with as harshly as possible. The future of SCOTUS depends on how they deal with this issue. If this passes without a head or heads rolling, then SCOTUS is no better that the rest of our government and that is beyond sad.
