I'm not recouping as fast as I had hoped from Covid. Dr. said it may take a year to get my strength and cardio vascular back. Need a project to keep me from going insane. Rifles only, no .22's and something reasonable...price wise. Let me know via pm if you have anything. Thanks, powdr

Something maybe not be in the shape or missing some parts. Maybe end up w/a truck gun. Something people are tired of looking at and know they won't ever finish. powdr

I wish I had a project for you but I don't! Good luck with the Covid. That [bleep] kicked my ass. I'm getting over it but it sure made me tired.

A local gunshow, LGS, or pawn shop would be the best places to look. Plenty of potential projects around here. A bare Ruger No. 1 action came across the classifieds here awhile back, but just about any viable action will do. Then find a chunk of wood stock to fit it and go to work. Glass bedding stocks is a chore, but satisfying when it turns out nice. One can always improve the rifles that are on hand. I've always wanted one of those brown precision pounder stocks

I have a Husqvarna 1640 in9.3x62, needs restocked, the finish is worn and thin on the receiver, and barrel. Action functions properly,, and bore is good, I bought this 5 or 6 years ago to redo and never got to it. If interested PM me.

Good luck with your recovery. I take it you want to buy rather than work on some else’s.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally
