Shot some groups with the new CZ 452 American rifle in 17 HMR

Here is the CZ 452 American in 17 HMR

Took my new rifle up to my mountain cabin a couple of days ago. Groups were 5 shots at 100 yards. It averages about a 0.714" group size with the Hornady ammo, but doesn't like the CCI ammo at all. There was no barrel break in. I merely cleaned the new barrel and there was zero copper in it from the factory test rounds. The best groups were shot when there had been about 150 rounds through the barrel with no further cleaning. On my Contender in 17 HMR, I notice that it takes a few rounds for a clean barrel to settle in. Seems like the 17 HMR behaves a lot like a 22 LR in that respect.
