I think you read it backwards. The USD lost a little against the Peso and went up big against all the other currencies. The USD, interest rates, and commodities all rising.....what could go wrong?

Most of those countries, like Japan, have even more debt than the US.

Thanks for the insight. I glanced at the original post but do not follow the markets other than what I have payroll deducted for a 401K and a Roth.

A friend of mine is selling some rural property, and he's thinking of turning at least some of is back into rural property. Real estate doesn't go down like the dollar. In years past he always did stocks or savings accounts.......not these days.

We have $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities.

Well, not exactly. The cabal is schietting because Putin is winning. They just told the Resident to bump our latest futile effort to $40 Billion to help Ukraine.

You know what they say, $10 billion here and $10 billion there......

Is that part of why silver and gold are down? The dollar is one of the best looking horses in the glue factory.

You got that right. I can hold down the price of food somewhat by eating pasture beef and deer which isn't all that good but our adult kids and my wife and I are learning to eat it and be happy but the price of fuel is hurting. It is more than double what we paid in Oct. 2020. Gas and diesel are hitting us an extra $10K per year. I can't see how folks that have to burn a lot of fuel can make it work. We heat exclusively with wood but we like 68 to 70F in the house in summer. People don't equate inflation with taxes but as I've heard it said "inflation is the cruelest tax of all". And inflation is the tax that hits the lower income folks the hardest.

They are down because of the illegal practices of the Bolshevik Comex the commie sec and DOJ ignore. They wont be down much longer, but the Fed Reserve bank note will continue much lower.

Remember when the Bolshevik Comex drove the price of oil down to - (minus)$37/bbl?

You think you could buy oil for $0 then? You think you could have bought oil for $10 a bbl? No way. Silver spot is like $22 an oz. Let me know where you can buy it for that.

There is a reason Jesus whipped the money changers (banksters) out of the Holy Temple and called them vipers. He said He knew their father, the murderer from the beginning. Who was the murderer from the beginning? Cain. Cain was a viper, as was his father. Vipers begat vipers.

That's why God hated Cains gifts. As 1John 3:11-12 says, Cain was from the Evil one.

Now you know where Satan scattered his seed of tares in with Gods seed of wheat.

The vipers are still with us. Putin is destroying them and their homeland in Ukraine. The Nazis.

It is mainly due to rising and anticipated rising interest rates in the US, comparatively. The Fed is supposedly ready to fight inflation., or at least more so than other central banks. So for the moment our currency is being debased less actively. As someone said - the least ugly one.

Bank of Japan is actively holding down rates in the face of inflation.
