One thing I find interesting is the banning of George Carlin's 7 dirty words. What's the point? I've seen so many variations of the word f uck on this forum that it's laughable. Kingston does it best and I have not yet to be able to replicate it. It's the hot sauce of language. Why not just let it go instead of typing around it? Weird. I believe every other major social media allows it - youtube, FB, etc. - kind of a free speech sort of thing and not as gay as "like".

This is probably one of the most followed sites on the internet. It has changed since I came here in 2007, but it stands alone with the unmoderated forums and open policies that have pluses and minuses.
I would also remind Rick and everyone else, this is a privately owned site and not a democracy. Regardless of any popular opinions about wanting a like button, the Campfire becomes more teenage and Facebook type of site if you get on board with that behavior.
Emphatically I don’t vote no, I recommend no and keep the Campfire what made it great…
