Is there any differences in the early model Montana vs. the later model Montana with the factory threaded barrels with a green looking stock? Is the quality still there? I’m not real familiar with the Kimber Montana, but I picked up one the other day in 308 and I really like the feel of it. More than my Fieldcraft…

I have had very good luck with the older Montanas. I have no experience with the newer version. PS. For what it's worth, I REALLY like my Fieldcraft. donsm70

I don’t remember hearing any negatives about the moss green stocked models. Seems like accuracy and feeding were excellent. All of mine are the gray stocked models and I have zero complaints. Wish I had a couple more 308 Montana is perfection. 2-7 or 3-9 150’s, 165’s and 180’s H4895, Reloder 15, IMR4064 Life is good 👍

I have gotten 8-10 PM’s regarding getting rid of my FC. No, I am not getting rid of that FC. It shoots too well to just sell or much less trade for the Montana. I won’t say never, but not likely to let that FC go. Thanks for the interest and I individually answered everyone. Again my apologies for the inquiry in the classified. If it can be deleted or moved, please do so or tell me how to do it.
Thanks Nick

As the original poster, if you bring up your ad, you should be able to edit it by hitting the blue box in the lower right corner. I think you have up to 3 days to edit. Free bump and GLWS. donsm70
