Is there a problem?

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

Nothing wrong with it, if you are getting a good deal. If not, you seriously need some help. I only buy rifles in good shape and great deals. Maybe set your bar to a higher level? I also would not buy a Remington ADL. Just not my cup of tea. Just something to think about: Is that recent ADL, you bought, in excellent condition and did it cost you $200? Nothing wrong if that is the case..

No problem. I just want one of every model, from every manufacturer, in every caliber it was ever offered in. See you are not alone. laugh

As long as you're not spending the mortage money and such, or are buying bad deals, there is no problem. IMHO

Patience. It'll fade of its own accord, but likely to be replaced by equally addictive stuff - pistols, shotguns, target rifles. It's an addiction caused by an imbalance of gunpowder in our blood, something not shared by the wretched souls who don't know the joys of smelling a freshly fired paper shot shell, the aroma of Hoppes, or the comforting heft of a rifle in their hands.

And your spouse. Though Eileen keeps buying rifles and shotguns that might not "appreciate"--except among her crowd....

Once you have a 7mm or .308 caliber rifle, no-one will ever be able to show you any animal in the lower 48 that you are not adequately armed for.
It really is that simple.
