Just curious...do y'all typically find good accuracy with more jump or less for the 129 gr Accubond LR?

6.5 man bun if it matters....

No prior experience with the LR variety of accubond so any held would be much appreciated.

More for me. I won’t normally start them closer than .050 myself.

I can't help much but I'll share my experiences with the 142gr Accubond LR. I started with about .20 off the lands but ended up at about .65 off the lands. Accuracy wasn't near as good as other bullets like the 143gr ELD-X, 140gr Ballistic Tip, or the 130gr Sierra Gamechanger.

Another thing I noticed is that using the same powder with the 142gr ABLR as I did with the 143gr ELD-X I got less speed with the 142.

I ended up getting the best accuracy and similar speeds with the 142gr ABLR using Hunter and I arrived there after trying IMR 4350, IMR 4831, StaBall6.5, Reloder 23, and finally Hunter.

The velocity with StaBall6.5 and IMR 4350 were slow compared to other loads I had developed

My experience with them is either really great or just complete hot garbage. I’ll start them at .050 and do .025 jumps back to .150 or so. If nothing looks good I typically move on to other bullets. I’ve gone thru near a whole box in the past trying different seating depths, powders, etc and have found if they won’t shoot somewhere between .050 to .150 back nothing will make them much better.
