China and India are the big winners as large energy consumers being able to buy at a big discount. Even with the discount Russia is able to sell at a higher price than what it would typically sell for and the US cuts energy production furthering the benefits to China, India, and Russia at our expense.
We’re probably running up more debt and spending more money on Ukraine than what Russia is spending fighting Ukraine. All while pushing Russia closer to China rather than pulling them towards us as an asset to leverage against China.
