I guess releasing the strategic supply to reduce the cost was a bad strategy….. Especially when you don't let it go into the US and sell it to Europe. No one wants to talk about that though. Nothing but optics. The sheeple are easily fooled. Clyde

We have a small advantage in this part of the country in that we're higher in elevation and can get 85 octane gas. When you get above about 2000', you don't need 87. That keeps the price slightly down.

Gas is cheaper at my yacht club than at the pumps here in Connecticut. We will pay dearly when we get another delivery.

Went to throw some fuel in my truck this evening... Yeah.  When Trump left office I was paying $2.60/gallon up from $2.40 a month or two earlier. At the same station this past friday it was $5.19. "Lets Go Brandon". The libs I work with get real quiet when the discussion moves to gas prices. Surely must be better than mean tweets though? And housing .. and food. I remind 'em that those stimulus checks and COVID payments were a payday advance, not a gift, and now they have to pay 'em back through inflation. And so does everyone else whether they got the stimulus / payments or not. Wealth redistribution via inflation is the commie way. Tom

Was just sent a clip from youtube of a couple that owned a logging company. He'd been logging since he was 11, had been in business on his own for 37 years, and they were hanging it up due to fuel prices.
Said when he started, his rule of thumb was 25% went to fuel, 25% went to the driver, and the other 50% went to the truck payment, maintenance, insurance and his living.
Said now he is at 70% for the fuel, driver getting 30%. Leaving nothing for putting back in the business or to make his living.
Result, he's shutting down his operation and retiring.

I consider myself "well off" financially but the prices of food, gas, diesel, energy, health care, clothing and housing are just horrifically high now under china joe and his ho!
I find myself deterring from activities (travel, eating out, buying things etc) due to the horrific costs involved nowadays.
This china joe and his ho's inflation is going to harm our country and our countries economy - perhaps permanently.

The day china joe and his ho somehow got elected gas was $2.02 a gallon here - it is now $4.49 a gallon!
I shudder to think how high it will be/go this summer!

Was down around 3.44 3.55 5 or 6 weeks ago down from the 4.29 it was prior.
