Cleaning out my Dad's house to get ready to sell it and found this. Nobody knows what it is.
Has a set screw knob and can extend up to 7 feet or so in height.
It is surprisingly heavy.
WTF is it?

Looks like you could use it to hang gun stocks on after you've rubbed'em down with stain or Tru-oil. With the appropriate length of wire of coarse.
That's where my mine went first.

Nope. The edges are too sharp and the throat is too narrow and shallow for hanging IV bags. Those slots @ the end of the “fingers” on top are slotted for chain.
