What's a fair price to ask for a Marlin JM stamped 45/70 chambered Cowboy Rifle with Lyman rear peep sight? Two very minor stock blemishes and one pea-sized blemish on mag tube bluing. I am original owner - actual round count <500. Thanks. DJB

Mine sold through a gun shop 3 years ago while I was in in Colorado, $1100
It's worth more than you might think!

Worth more than it would have been 3 years ago .
Grumpy old man with a gun.....Do not touch . Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Don't bother my monument and I'll leave yours alone.

I’d say $1,000 is bottom price. $1,300 top price.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally
