I never cared for them as they had too much bite for me. I dug threw my T-grips for my recently acquired M65 and all I had were blued. I started looking for grips and came across the VZ's that have very minor texture, no finger grooves and are just slightly longer in the front for good "pinky" grasp. They just feel about perfect in my hand.
I agree with you. The VZ grips I've tried felt good, and they looked good.

Have been trying to find a good set of grips for a Ruger SP101 for some time now. Tried the Hogue and Pachmayr Diamond Pro and while both are "okay", neither one really feels perfect in the hand.
Looked at the VZ grips and called them today to get some measurements, apparently they have a good thickness across the backstrap to protect the web of your hand and long enough to get a good grip on them, so just ordered a set of their 320 grips in black with silver hardware like yours.
Will post some pics when they get here.
If they worked well I was going to try a set for a S&W J-frame Model 35 but they only make them for round butt Smiths and the 35's all are SB. Phooey.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Looking forward to what you think as my SP101 needs grips.
Had them on two 1911's, but I had eczema so bad at the time they were tearing my strong hand up. So I sold them off. I would buy another set now, if I found a need.
Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.
Look great and nice that they work for you. I do not like finger grooves nor checkering or coarse textures on a revolver. That's just me. A favorite for me were the now defunct Ahrend's retro-bananas.
