I posted on campfire & I'll put it here to get more thoughts. Got a 8 shot .22 taurus 3" barrel revolver that I hate. Bought it last year for $299 before tax& background bs. Guy wants to trade a ruger lc9 with 3 mags. The concensus on the fire was no. What do y'all think?

I'd think it only matters what you think. I don't get the allure of asking strangers their opinions on my business transactions.

Dollarwise it's close enough to be a wash. What matters is which one you like better and can use more.

I had a LC9 and liked it. My oldest son wrenched it out of my fingers. I’m usually not a big semi-auto fan, but that pistol was a perfect carry gun for self protection, I think.

I prefer classic.

If you don't like the Taurus, why keep it in your safe and taking up space when you can try another firearm? Is there a chance for you to shoot the Ruger a few times? That way you can see if this trade is worth it to you.

I traded earlier today. Got 3 mags, holster, box, and manual. Just shot it 10 minutes ago. The trigger is decent to my liking. Others said trigger was terrible. Sights are good, and it shoots good. One of the better trades I made. I've pretty much decided I'll never own another Taurus unless someone gives it to me.
