I really want to just put you on blast for being so misinformed but I am trying to be nicer. When you learn more about the world you find that the article I posted as about currency flowing out of Russia to pay sovereign debt (bonds). The above article was about currency flowing into Russia through a intermediary bank that converts the dollar/euro to rubles for payment for gas. Litterally opposite transactions. As you can see here Russia had to pay early to stay under the waiver instead of trying to force the bond holders to accept Ruble Rubles. John is Smart according to Reuters

It’s pretty obvious why the Chinese are expecting sanctions to be imposed in the next year or three.
