I am looking at my options for a 100 to 400lb gravity feeder to place in feeder pins in shooting lanes. I have experience with redneck t post feeders and banks 600 lb feeders. The only reason I got rid of the banks was that at my previous spot the lains were narrow and I couldn't see around the thing. New spots on the lease has wider lanes to accommodate a wider feeder. Plastic feeders concern me in that squirrel knaw in to them. I have been looking at the game winner protien feedee ( all metal ). Any suggestions are appreciated

Top one holds 600#

bottom one holds 1000#

We feed protein year around.

We sand blast and paint them about every 5 years, they are in 56 locations around the ranch. Rio7

Those are some fine looking feeders . I will not be feeding protien but rather corn . Our deer have access to several hundred acres of soy beans. Though I am considering putting some sort of feed in them after deer season til spring.

I’ve got a bunch of the game winner big a feeders. I use mine as spin feeders but the gravity attachment looks like it would work well

I have had 6 of them for 4-5 years and am buying 2 more this year. They’ve been reliable. Only replaced a couple of solar panels and programming units. The hoppers and motors have held up well

I have been looking at the game winner big A and the 600 lb protien feeder with the intention of feeding corn in both. I hate to buy then only to spend another 50 to equip it with a gravity tube . Steel is the selling point of the game winner feeders. I have had a squirrel get inside of a ontime plastic barrel feeder......pis spoils the feed !!!

Outback wildlife feeders. Built like tanks. Not cheap.

These are squirrel proof and are $30 each, a simple 30 gallon galvanized garbage can. Add some legs , hang from a tripod or a tree limb. Add your own pipe or corn slinger. They hold 150lbs of corn.
