I do some freelance work with Meopta and I had the opportunity to use a Dichro reticle scope when they first came out and I was impressed. The reticle let me make a 1 shot stop at the first legal light on a nice buck. The glass allowed me to watch him in the thick woods while watching my watch. After harvesting my deer I loaned my rifle to a buddy's nephew and his GF, they both also took nice bucks with the girl making one heck of a shot through a small window in the thick woods. I liked the scope so much that I bought it after that first season of using it. My son and I have since taken a few more nice bucks with the Optika6 3-18x50 4D Dichro. The Dichro technology does need some ambient light to function and it will help you get on your target quickly and accurately.
