For Sale: Early Remington KS Mountain Rifle in 7mm Remington Magnum with deep gloss blued finish. Comes with original box and all paperwork, condition can be seen in photos. If there's anything you'd like to see otherwise, please let me know and I'll get you whatever you'd like. I'm the second owner, and have shot it less than 100 rounds in the past 10+ years. I built a M70 300 Win just after I got this and it's the only rifle I pick up for this purpose anymore, hence why this one is for sale. Shoots as you would expect a Custom Shop rifle should, trigger is crisp as glass and action is as slick as any I've ever touched. I've tried to point out all of the imperfections in the pictures, a small mark towards the end of the barrel, along with a small chip on the stock which I've pointed out. There's some residue on the top of the rear bridge from where the scope mounts were, I have not tried to polish it off. The factory extractor does have a crack in the sheet metal, I was going to have it replaced with an updated version but opted to let the next owner decided whether to go back with an original style or not. Muzzle has no wear on the machined surface, other than a slight amount where it meets the OD of the barrel. Will include a set of Talley LWT 1" low's if the buyer chooses. Rifle will ship from me (non-FFL) to your FFL, with full insurance as it should. Asking $1500 including shipping/insurance to lower 48, will work with potential buyers from AK on an individual basis. Payment by USPS MO only, no exceptions. No trades needed. Thank You. C prefix, I think that makes it a McMillan, not a Brown right?

Nice rifle and great guy to deal with. I'll bet it shoots good too.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Any pics of groups available? I’ve never met a Remington Custom Shop rifle that wouldn’t shoot incredibly well! I have several and they are among the most accurate rifles I own!! Bump for a very good deal!! PennDog

Nice rifle Richard - good luck with the sell! I have it's twin in stainless steel which shoots really well. Seems like just a few short months ago this rifle would have been long gone by now...

Thanks, Guys. As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short to the party! Truth be know, it doesn't hurt my feelings if it stays here. Any pics of groups available? That I do not, but I went back in my notes and found that it really liked 160 grain Accubonds over 7828SSC with the smallest group recorded at .54". The previous owner has sanded inside the barrel channel to allow for a full free float. Not sure if they came that way or not as this is the only one I've been around.

PM's returned, rifle is still for sale as of now.
I'm a farmer and we're in the middle of hay season right now, so it might be awhile before I answer everyone's PM's.
Thanks.

Me as well on both comments. It’s like gas, groceries, power, everything continues to rise! What a shame a fine rifle like this isn’t getting the attention it deserves.
