They can be christians and may not believe in abortion but their party does so they are complicit.

There's a reason Jews are so often Progressives - they don't believe in the final revelation of Jesus. They think that revelation can change too, so that things like the 10 Commandments can be "revealed" to just be suggestions later on. Where does this new "revelation" come from? Just about anywhere, as there is NO authority.

There is a scripture that says to have no fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness. Democrats have become socialist/communist. They believe in abortion which is taking an unborn human life. They take from you through taxes and reward lazyness and the unproductive. This is stealing. Bible says if a man doesn't work, he shouldn't eat. No able bodied person should get anything. They can do some type of job, even flipping hamburgers. Socialists believe the government is god. They ignore the real God and his scripture. So, no, a Democrat today cannot be a true Christian.

Everyone's salvation is on an individual basis. To be part of the current Dem party, you must approve of abortion, support homosexuality and transgenders. The Dem party is strongly against Christ.
On the R side, it's still on an individual basis. There are R's who are pretty far left and they will possibly come under the above scripture. They can also be way right and still be condemned if they don't know the Lord.

There was a time when being a Democrat and being a Christian was not a problem. As a matter of fact, at one time, it might be said that you couldn't have been a Christian and be a Republican, especially during the Lincoln presidency. It's different now days, and the Democrat Party is not the one that I grew up believing in. It has become the party of everything that's wrong with this country, and has become the party of evil. If one is a Christian, and has their eyes and ears open, I don't believe they can in good conscience call themselves a Christian and support the policies of the Democrat Party.

Look at the Catholic church, and how they supposedly are against abortion, yet many of the top Democrats in this country are Catholics and support abortion 110%..............yet the Catholic church continues to hold them as members in good standing, and gives them a big going away sendoff when they die, as they did for Ted Kennedy.
