Just a heads up, Stocky’s has blemish carbon fiber stocks for the howa mini for $239 after the sale price. Claims it only weighs 17 ounces. Seams like a heck of a price to me

I found it under the bargain barn tab.

Thanks for the heads up.

I know everyone hates google, but if you input stocky’s carbon fiber howa mini, it’s the second result.

Never saw any listed for the mini. They must not have had many, and they sold quick.

Thanks LH, grabbed one of the last two today.

And ordered bottom metal from Oregon gunsmithing.

I got one for a long action/sporter barrel... 20oz according to my fish scale. Not perfect, some blems for sure but it's usable.

I’m really impressed with this stock. I feel like it’s an impressive stock at full price much less at the bargain they were selling these at! Mine came in at 17.4 ounces which is damn close to the 17 ounce advertised. Fit island finish are honestly really good, I expected them to have some seriously rough places somewhere but other then some very slight roughness where the 2 parts of the shell meet and one spot at the toe of the stock I can’t find anything.

I threw my daughters 6.5 Grendel in it and the fit looks perfect to me. Same gap running down both sides of the barrel channel all the way. Forend is super stiff as well. Well worth the money and it’s probably gonna force me to buy the flush bottom metal just to bring it to the next level.

I am reading that some of the carbon minis are available. There are a couple of 7.62x39's on GB

I do not see them listed for sale. They do list some carbon stocks for the standard Howa 1500
