That scale has numerous siblings. I think about a third of the McMillan edges and brown pounders that I have bought were weighed on members of the same family. 😬

Yeah that is still an excellent lightweight rig you have there Shinbone...Enjoy! 👍......Hb Indeed. I find the 300 wsm/8400 to be more tolerable than the ‘06/84L.

It sat in the shop forever, they wanted the ungodly amount of 850.0 for it NIB.

I have been tempted to buy a .338 Win, especially when i planned an Elk hunting trip that never happened....Hb

I’d take a 7-10 ounced 300 mag hunting anywhere. That’s a nice rig.

If they get busy again, I would like a Talkeetna. If anyone has one they might like to part with let me know!

I bought a 223 Montana, like new, early this year. Might get to shoot it tomorrow! Rare here.

Never heard of Herald, CA and had to look it up. Just a little over an hour away from me Don't need it...I have 3 Kimber Montanas in the stable already. 223 Rem, 6.5x47Lapua and 280AI.

Makes me want to rob the savings account! I love my 308 and 300WSM so a 223 would be a great addition. Must stay strong.......
Good Shooting!

I talked to Kimber yesterday looking for a stock for either a Montana or an Adirondack they don't have any of those stocks in stock so dont be looking for any Montanas or Adirondacks anytime soon

Currently have Montanas in 7mm WSM, .280 AI and .30-06. Classic Selects in 280 AI and .30-06. The .223 is tempting.

I'm very happy with the two Kimber Hunters that I have _ but, if a Hunter in .223 were to become reality, I'd be adding one to the herd in a heartbeat!

Outside of the 223 and 375 my pick of the litters for the different montana families are 6.5, 270, and 7 wsm. I love the 280 but the 270 just works with a bit less recoil. Sounds like you need that 223.
