The reason many like her message is that it has all the right enemies. The people we see as the enemies of our nation and system are also her enemies, and work against her constantly. That has to mean something. It seems that neocons are the Republicans who oppose her most.

You guys nailed it...also a huge vote draw from 'no party preference', the very ones who decide a lot of elections. She is a gifted speaker, with her calm quiet demeanor, and I can easily envision her sucking in millions of people, because she tells you exactly what you want to hear.
